4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup butter, softened
4 to 5 cups confectioner's sugar
Beat together cream cheese, butter, and vanilla in a bowl until light and fluffy. Mix in sugar in 1/2 cup at a time until spreadable.
