(Riely - Pure Cane Sugar Recipe)
1 lb box of C&H Pure Cane Powdered Sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 stick salted butter, softened
Beat with electric mixer for two minutes, scraping the bowl often. For thinner consistency add milk a little at a time.
Alterations:
Chocolate:
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Beat 1 additional minute.
Replace milk with 1/4 cup lemon juice
Orange:
Replace milk with 1/4 cup orange juice
Sour Cream Tang:
Add 3 Tbsp sour cream
Beat 1 addtional minute
*Frosts an 8-inch, 2 layer cake.
